Celebrating Asian Identity at Goucher
The aim of this project is to demonstrate an example of "displays of self," an important aspect in creating a sense of belonging in higher education spaces. The website features an art gallery of Asian Goucher student work, artist statements, personal stories, and my Peace studies bibliography which details the research on Asian American identity development and experience in higher education and the Peace theories that guided my research. Special thanks to the Brooke and Carole Pierce Center for Undergraduate Research in Special Collections and Archives, Deborah Harner, Kristen Welzenbach, Karen Sykes, Jennifer Bess, the Peace studies capstone class, all of the creatives featured in the project, and many others who helped me create this. Thank you.
